Where is the festival held?
Avebury Rocks is held at East Farm which is just outside of Avebury village on the A4361 towards Swindon. We can’t give you the postcode because it will just take you to a random field! The farm is approximately a ten minute drive from junction 16 of the M4 at Swindon.
What time does the music start?
Music will start on the Friday night at 7pm and at midday on Saturday, access to the campsite is from 5pm on Friday.
Can I camp?
Yes, camping is available on site at the farm for Friday and Saturday nights. Please note that BBQs and campfires are not permitted onsite.
Can I park next to my tent?
No, for safety reasons we do not allow cars in the camping area. But, don’t worry, the camping area is within the same field as the car parking, so it is only a very short walk away. Campervans will also be given their own area within the field so that there are no moving vehicles with the tents!
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Glass bottles and containers are not allowed onsite, East Farm is a working farm and we have to ensure that the area remains safe for livestock. You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol onsite but there will be a well stocked bar available all weekend. There will be a variety of delicious food available from local suppliers, although you are permitted to bring your own food.
Can I bring a dog?
Yes, Avebury Rocks welcomes well-behaved dogs who are kept on leads. Please remember to clean up after your dog throughout the weekend – that’s definitely not a job for our volunteers!
Is the festival suitable for children?
Yes, Avebury Rocks is suitable for everyone including children and there will be some workshops on Saturday to keep them busy.
What happens if I can’t find my ticket or proof of purchase?
Don’t worry, we will have a list of all ticket holders on the gate, but if you can let us know beforehand by calling 01793 816161 it will make getting in on the day a lot quicker!
If I can’t attend anymore can my ticket be refunded?
Unfortunately, if you are not longer able to attend we are not able to refund tickets.
Do you need volunteers?
Yes, as with any other Prospect Hospice event, Avebury Rocks wouldn’t be possible without the support of an army of wonderful volunteers. There are plenty of different jobs, from helping with car parking, to support for the bar - if you’d like more information about volunteering at Avebury Rocks, please email email@example.com.
