Avebury Rocks Music Festival

Friday 27 - Sunday 29 July 2018

Where is the festival held?
In 2018, Avebury Rocks will be held at Warren Farm, Swindon (SN4 0EB), which is just off the B4192. The farm is approximately a fifteen minute drive from junction 15 of the M4 at Swindon.

What time does the music start?
Music will start on the Friday night at 7pm and at midday on Saturday. Access to the campsite is from 5pm on Friday.

Can I camp?
Yes, camping is available on site at the farm for Friday and Saturday nights. Please note that barbecues and campfires are not permitted onsite.

Can I park next to my tent?
No, for safety reasons we do not allow cars in the camping area. But don’t worry, the camping area is only a very short walk away. Campervans will also be given their own area within the field so that there are no moving vehicles near the tents!

Can I bring my own food and drink?
Glass bottles and containers are not allowed onsite. Warren Farm is a working farm and we have to ensure that the area remains safe for livestock. You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol onsite, but there will be well-stocked bars available all weekend. There will be a variety of delicious food available from local suppliers, although you are permitted to bring your own food.

Can I bring a dog?
Yes, Avebury Rocks welcomes well-behaved dogs who are kept on leads. Please remember to clean up after your dog throughout the weekend – that’s definitely not a job for our volunteers!

Is the festival suitable for children?
Yes, Avebury Rocks is suitable for everyone including children and there will be some workshops on Saturday to keep them busy.

What happens if I can’t find my ticket or proof of purchase?
We try to save paper and keep our printing costs to a minimum so, if you have ordered your tickets online, you won’t receive a paper ticket. We will have a list of all ticket holders on the gate, so just give the name that the tickets are booked under and you will receive your wristband. If you have bought a physical ticket from one of our shops and have misplaced your ticket, please give us a call on 01793 816161.

If I can’t attend anymore can my ticket be refunded?
Unfortunately, if you are not longer able to attend we are not able to refund tickets.

Do you need volunteers?
Yes! As with any other event, Avebury Rocks wouldn’t be possible without the support of an army of wonderful volunteers. There are plenty of different jobs, from helping with car parking, to supporting the bar - if you’d like more information about volunteering at Avebury Rocks, please email fundraisingandevents@prospect-hospice.net.
